In 1988 Graham Joyce quit an executive job and decamped to the Greek island of Lesbos, there to live in a beach shack to concentrate on writing. He sold his first novel while still in Greece and since then has published 15 novels, numerous short stories and a work of non-fiction.
He is a winner of the O Henry Award; The World Fantasy Award; and is five-times winner of the British Fantasy Award. His work has been translated into over twenty languages.
